Build Season Pep Talk 3
It’s the 3rd week of build season, which means that we almost halfway through! Some of your are probably cheering at that thought and others are banging your head against the wall, but it will all be okay!! Keep in mind all of the BFFs, Glen, and myself are all here for you if you need anything!
Make sure that you are being attentive to the Team Updates that are posted on this page of theFIRST website. These manual “modifications”effect not only the field, but the game, robot, and award rules as well: http://www.firstinspires.org/resource-library/frc/competition-manual-qa-system
Rob Heslin, who will be the Lead Robot Inspector at the Finger Lakes Regional, will be in attendance at the Rochester Rally XII. He said that he is more than willing to talk with you about rules and give your robot an unofficial pre-inspection at this event. I implore you to take advantage of Rob as a resource! More information about the Rally:
Details: Sunday, February 21st 2016 from 10AM to 4PM . “Pits” will open at 10AM, snacks & pizza will be sold to help pay for the event.
Location: 25 High School Drive, Penfield NY. Hosted by Team 1511 – Harris & Penfield High School. Robot loading will be at the back of the school on the loading dock.
To finish off this “Pep Talk” I have another Kid President video (can you tell I like him?) to share with you. This one is specifically a pep talk to teachers and students, because as he says in the video “we are all teachers and we are all students… so teachers keep teaching and students keep studenting!”:
